Ballbar checks provide a quick & easy guide to CNC Machine Tool performance for Mills, Lathes, Machining Centres & Borers, allowing identification of both geometric errors and inaccuracies produced by servo drive systems.
Used as a maintenance tool, the Ballbar can analyse backlash, lubrication, servo inbalance and transmission wear.
QC10 Diagnostic Software automatically detects, quantifies and prioritises machine errors, with analysis in accordance with ISO 230-4, ANSI B5.54 & B5.57 standards. |

Step1
Perform a circular Ballbar test.
Step2
Analyse captured data to quantify performance of CNC Machine Tool to International Standards
Step3
Isolate sources of error. Diagnostics software will list, highlight and prioritise all common machine errors, such as Backlash, Lateral Play, Squareness, Straightness, Cyclic Errors, Reversal Spikes, Scale mis-match and Servo mis-match. |
