Machine Tool Refurbishment & Re-manufacture

CNC & electrical retrofits provide state-of-the-art control technology, but they assume that the base machine structure is in good mechanical condition. Where machines have lost their accuracy and/or are breaking down on a regular basis, EES offer a machine refurbishment service.

The extent of the refurbishment varies from machine to machine; this ranges from a partial overhaul, to correct known faults or inaccuracies, to a full machine rebuild where the machine is stripped to component level, damaged and worn parts refurbished or replaced and the machine rebuilt to manufacturers original tolerances and in accordance with BS 4656.

 The Benefits of Machine
 Refurbishment are:

 • Increased machine utilisation, through
    reduced machine downtime
 • Increased accuracy
 • Reduced scrap
 • Reduced maintenance costs
 • Machine Refurbishment is a fraction of
the capital cost of an equivalent new
    Machine

Increasingly, EES are being asked to re-engineer old conventional machines to convert them to CNC, thereby enhancing capabilities, accuracy & performance and further increasing machine utilisation.
